Actually, because so much of our design work is done remotely, Covid or no Covid, we’re still busy designing for clients right now, and yep, we’re working our magic to whip up some outdoor spaces.
Indoor spaces and outdoor spaces both require the same wise design strategies to make them sing.

Art is one of the mission critical tools in any space; without it rooms look undone. Yes, even fabulously uber minimalist modern spaces have an art perspective, no matter how reductionist.
When clients come to us, they want something special in their particular style. If they are short on art, we have a myriad of tricks up our sleeves to create art for them. Here’s just one. 😉 A client's favorite fabric that never made it into their design scheme turned into gallery wrapped artwork, hung in a grid. The look is signature, personalized and even provided enough budget relief to allow them to step out on a custom bedding. 🙂 Art is...a strategic art...on any budget. Xo! #LoveWhatWeDo!

Try to keep your head above it all. Try not to heap more stress on top of an already stressful situation. Download a great mindfulness app like Breethe or Calm. Start a journal. Do whatever you can to keep yourself centered and in balance. .

Keep breathing….this time, like all difficult times, will pass ❤️

Oh, and BTW - what to hang over the fireplace was something that “she” stressed over for a long time before meeting us. So I asked her to show me things she owned and loved. When she pulled out a dish from her grandmother I smiled and asked…. “Have any more?” ⁣
